A Relaxing Vacation - Scuba Dive In Maui
I recently spent the holidays and Maui to do some SCUBA diving. I also took my clubs is planning a golfing as well since Hawaii has many fabulous golf courses and some of the most beautiful waters for SCUBA diving. This was not my first trip to SCUBA dive in Maui. Before I even left, I went to my computer to research dive resorts online. I checked out some of the forums so I could get recommendations from other divers. It wasn't one form that was any better than the other. I got lots of useful information from many different websites. So I packed my bags complete with my SCUBA gear, golf clubs, and of course, my Christmas gifts(it was after all the holidays).
While I was in Maui I did some shopping at the local dive shops. I needed a new diving watch mine was getting old and was keeping track of time very well. So I found myself a new watch complete with time, date, water temperature, and even depth.
What I really love about diving in Hawaii is the crystal-clear water, the beautiful fish and marine life, and the warm ocean water. Personally, I can't tolerate cold water. I've tried diving along the East Coast of the United States and in lakes, ponds, and quarries. I'm just not a cold water diver. I much prefer diving trips to the Caribbean, Central America, and Hawaii. Not only that, the weather is almost always nice in Hawaii so even when you're not diving there is always something to do. That is why I like to bring my golf clubs along with me.
And since I travel with my family who don't SCUBA dive, there is always something for them to do as well. On the island of Maui, there are beautiful beaches to explore, plenty of shopping, and beautiful scenery. One day, all I was diving the volcanoes off the coast of Maui, my family was taking a helicopter tour of the tropical rain forest. At the end of the day, we compared notes and talked about our adventures. What a wonderful way to spend a vacation.
